Welcome to The Quiet Riot. This is an art historical sprint through female defiance. We aren't here to talk about pretty paintings; we’re here to talk about the women who used their art to flip the bird at a system designed to keep them invisible.
We’re looking at the hidden messages - and the wild audacity of women who managed to be iconic - while the world tried to categorise them as ‘just the muse’. From the subtle middle fingers tucked into 17th-century oils to the ‘I’ll do what the hell I want’ energy of the last 50 years - it’s a deep dive into the beautiful, unapologetic chaos of women who refused to sit down and shut up.
Expect 90 minutes of high-brow history, low-brow commentary, and at least three moments where you’ll wonder why the fuck we weren’t taught this in school. It’s smart, it’s salty, and it’s very much for the grown-ups.
