I've always been an artist at heart. Pursuing my passion, I spent five years at Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design in London and have since worked in auction houses, art dealing and graphic design. If you notice a subtle Asian style to some of my work, it's likely because I also completed a postgraduate diploma in Chinese Art History at SOAS, London and have spent a large chunk of my life living in Asia.
However, my love for hand-drawn, handwritten works and calligraphy has become my métier - although my clients would call me a swiss army knife of design. I love the simplicity and elegance of calligraphy - it provides me with a wonderful creative outlet. I am a self-taught calligrapher, and whilst some may say I should have had classical training, I see this as my strength as I can create artwork for my customers that is truly unique and completely bespoke.
Combining my different skills, I go beyond the classic, copperplate calligraphy people have come to expect. I consider my style to be contemporary and timeless.
